DONATION: This beautiful WSF Burl wood bowl from Canada has been donated by Wild Sheep Society of BC Life Member, Guy Scott. These bowls are highly figured burl wood in either maple or yellow cedar. They are salvaged from old growth forests and logged areas of the rugged West Coast of Vancouver Island, B.C. Each bowl is shaped and hollowed with hand tools on a large wood lathe and then seasoned until the wood is dry. This often takes a year or more. The piece is then thinned on the lathe and hand sanded and oiled to achieve a lasting finish. This beautiful burl wood bowl has inlaid patina bronzes of all four North American Wild Sheep (FNAWS) on the top to make it even more unique and one of a kind. Guy has been making these bowls for 15 years. So if you’ve missed the opportunity to win the bid on one of these beautiful bowls…now’s the time to bid high on this one-of-a-kind!
Guys work has been donated for many years to the Grand Slam Club, Wild Sheep Society of BC and Guide Outfitters Association of BC.
