This lot consists of a WWI era Maine National Guard uniform for a Corporal. The uniform group includes tunic, pants, brown leather boots, leather puttees, canvas puttees, wool leg wraps, a heavy wool overcoat, & visor cap. The uniform group belonged to Edward H. Brown of Bethel, ME. The lot further includes a Naval artillery shell, dated 1915, for a 6 lb. cannon, & a trench art artillery shell of a similar size & caliber made into a lamp that is now nonfunctional. CONDITION: uniform group shows light wear. Artillery shells are dewat & show moderate wear. (02-19726/BF). $300-500.
