Straw-finished small parts show wear and fading to the finish with scattered freckling. Action, hold open, and safety all function properly; bore is dark and heavily pitted, with worn lands and grooves. Grips show wear, soiling, and a few small scratches and gouges, and are correctly marked inside with the last two digits of the serial number. Grips fit the frame nicely with a minimum of movement; grip screws show thinning to the finish, with clean slots. Magazine body shows some rust, losses to the nickel plating, and wear from use; wood base shows no signs of ever being marked with numbers or proofs, shows age and light gouges around the side roundels.
