WWI PERIOD PORTABLE GERMAN SENTA TYPEWRITER
Senta typewriter no. 42026. The Senta typewriters are portable typewriters made by sewing machine manufacturer Frister & Rossman. The Senta typewriters were introduced during the Great War, but during the Great Depression F&R sold the rights to their machines to Griztner & Keyser. What was considered most attractive about their typewriters was the decal showcasing the F&R factory. In okay condition, wear is consistent with age. Some keys stick and the platen is stuck shifted to the left. Weighs approximately 10 lbs and measures approximately 12x12x3 inches.
