Made in 1943 and shipped to Birmingham, England through the US Lend-Lease program. Barrel is bright and clear with good rifling. Action Is smooth and functions without issue. British Birmingham proof mark “BV” found on slide, barrel and frame. “G.H.D” on left side of frame. Wood grips in good condition. Front post sight and rear sight appear to have been replaced with new sights. Some scratches and light wear on finish. A scratch on right wood grip. FFL or C&R required for transfer. BIDDING
Bidding advances shall be regulated by the auctioneer and shall be at his discretion. He or she has the right to refuse any bids. Some of the items offered at auction are subject to a reserve. A reserve is a minimum price agreed upon by the consignor of the property and the auction house. The auctioneer may bid on behalf of the consignor in order to reach the minimum sale amount. If the minimum amount is not reached, the auctioneer may pass the item. The auctioneer reserves the right to bid on behalf of clients and vendors, but shall not be liable for errors or omissions in executing instructions to bid. PAYMENT
