ENGINE. Deutsche Kinder-Wagen (DKW) was a one of the major German motorcycle manufacturers that was apart of formation of The Auto Union in 1932; eventually becoming the Audi company of today.
This motorcycle appears to be a WWII variant of the RT 125 w/ S# 1140274. Overall length: 73". Overall height: 37". Overall width: 20". A mostly tan paint design to emulate pattern used by German North African forces. 20" diameter wheels marked "BARUM" & "MADE IN CZECHSLOVAKIA". "MAGURA" marked handle bars w/ speedometer that reads up to 100 & current "mileage" of ".00005". Gas tank has DKW & 4 ring logo on side along w/ the following paint markings: "Inhalt 8,51 / Reserve 1,51 / Ges Amt 101" . "Achtung! / Krattstaff Mit Oel Fur Schmierung Des Motors Mischung 1:25" noting engine lubrication mixture. "Zundung Einschalten Nur fur Betrieb" warning about ignition usage. "GAYUSA" marked seat. Rear wheel carriage holds 2 metal storage boxes marked "WL-306846". Back license plated is white background marked "WL". CONDITION: While motorcycle has been given a more recent coat of paint & has residue from storage, a very good to near excellent overall piece that is visually appealing.
