WWII GERMAN RED CROSS ENLISTED MAN’S HEWER.
Overall length: 16 1/4". Plain blade with a blunted tip, sawtooth spine & medium fuller. The ricasso is stamped “GES. GESCHUTZT”. Plated cross guard with oval languets. The front languet features a WWII German Red Cross eagle. 2-Piece black composite grips with front grip having crosshatching. Plated ovate pommel. Black enameled scabbard with plated mounts. Black leather frog. CONDITION: blade shows primarily scabbard wear. Hilt shows light wear with some minor loss of finish on the pommel. Scabbard finish is better than 95%. Frog shows light wear.
