A good example of a standard issue shako worn by the enlisted ranks of the German police. This shako has a green felt covered leather body with black leather crown, visors & trim. There are 2 vents on each side and a large aluminum police eagle on the front. The shako is complete with its large elongated national colors cockade on the top. Black leather chinstrap attaches to aluminum side posts. The interior of the visors are green. The tan liner/sweatband is of 9-finger design. The interior crown has a label that reads “HANS ROMER Echt Fiber-Tschako Neu-Ulm (Donau)”. CONDITION: the green felt has some staining in the rear. The rear visor shows moderate wear.
