WWII German Luger byf-42 Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Holster, #2326b, 9mm, 4" barrel, blued finish, blued small parts, toggle center link marked "byf", chamber dated "42", Nazi eagle firing proof, "(eagle)135" waffenampts, all visible numbers matching but sideplate has been renumbered and refinished to match; stock lug, checkered wood grips, one blued extruded steel magazine with pinned black plastic base, marked "fxo", "(eagle)37", and "P.08". Includes a brown leather hard shell holster that is unmarked, and an unmarked loading tool. Condition is very good retaining approx. 80% original finish, with wear to the muzzle sides, a couple of heavy scratches on the barrel, high edgewear on the front of the frame, slide, thinning to the top of the toggle assembly, edgewear on the refinished sideplate, and sides of the frame. Right frame ear shows thinning and freckling, front and rear grip straps are very strong with light freckling. The blued small parts are very nice, with wear on the left side of the trigger. Grips are nice showing only light use, with nice grip screws and clean slots. Action, hold open, and safety all function properly; bore is lightly frosted with strong lands and grooves. Magazine shows only light use and is very nice. Holster is unmarked as noted above, and has a dark brown finish with spots of black in a few areas, showing age, wear from use, scuffs, scratches, and light cracking. The internal pull strap is intact. There is no extra magazine in the side pouch. There is an unmarked loading tool in the small internal pouch on the top flap. Est.: $1,000-$1,500. (C&R/PPT)
