Named George Oliver Sparks Jr. Sparks Jr. was an Air Force pilot for B-25s. He flew 75 missions mostly in the Burma/India campaign, including the Christmas Day raid on the bridges of Bangkok, Thailand in 1944.. Leather jacket in very good condition with leather still supple and only minor wear on the cuffs. Blood chit inside with sentences of several Asian languages. This A2 jacket has the US 10th Air Force emblem on the right sleeve and the China-Burma-India Theater insignia on the left sleeve. Both patches are made of leather. Nametag is stitched on the left breast and reads "G. O. Sparks Jr.". Zipper works as intended and is marked "Talon". This lot also comes with four shirts with 10th Air Force patches on three of them and two pairs of pants. Shirts and pants are in very good condition. See photos.
