SNIPER RIFLE. S# MOR 0001336. Bbl. 29" with IO Inc. import marking. Arsenal-reworked but original Soviet PU sniper rifle. Post front sight with hood. Tangent rear sight graduated to 2000m. Rifle is equipped with an original PU scope and mount. Scope was made by Soviet factory 357 and has a 1968 arsenal refurb marking. Scope has a post-reticle and optics that are a bit hazy. Leather scope caps are present. Left side of the scope mount has two electropencil numbers: one matches the scope serial number, and the other is the rifle serial number. Top of the bbl. shank has "CH" sniper markings, a Tula star, a 1943 date, serial number, and an arsenal refurb marking. Left side of the bbl. has a scope number that matches the PU scope. Left front of the receiver has an importer-added serial number. The left rear of the receiver has further added import and export Molot markings. All matching-numbered as arsenal-refurbished. Arsenal blue finish. Hardwood stock set with pressed-in sling slots and repro sling. Left side of the stock has a modern range data sticker for 180 gr. ammo. A cleaning rod is present. CONDITION: stock set has an arsenal rework-style finish with some scattered dings and handling marks. Metal retains 80% of its arsenal-reworked blue with scattered fading and edge wear.
