Walther/Interarms PP Super 9x18mm SN: 15304
Made in then-West Germany, the date code "HH" indicates this pistol was manufactured circa 1977, DA pistol, all-steel, blowback operated, features an external slide stop lever, no manual safety but the PP Super has a firing pin safety and was intended to be carried with the chamber loaded and hammer down, ready to be fired in double action mode, has a manual decocker on the left side of the slide, which, when pushed down, locks the firing pin and releases the hammer, and then automatically returns to the 'fire' position, approximately 3 1/2" barrel, bore is bright, the front sight blade has a night-aiming luminous spot in its rear face, while the rear sight is a square notch adjustable for windage and with a central luminous patch that can be aligned with the front spot in poor light, serrated hammer spur and trigger, the checkered grips are carefully molded to a hand-filling shape and provided with a thumb-rest, 7-round magazine. The finish on the left side of the slide is chipped and shows bare metal. Includes a black plastic Walther case with instruction manual and extra magazine. Manufactured circa 1972 - 1979. This pistol is chambered for the 9 mm Police (or 9 mm x 18 mm) cartridge, a round devised in Germany to obtain the maximum power from a blowback pistol, combined with good stopping power and a low risk of ricochet for use by police and special forces in urban areas. A word of caution to the owners of Walther PP Super pistol. The scarce 9x18mm Police/Ultra ammunition is NOT compatible with Soviet 9×18 Makarov PM ammunition. Attempts to fire 9×18 Makarov ammunition from PP Super pistol are very dangerous due to the larger diameter of 9mm Makarov bullet. **NRA Very Good** Modern Firearm
