'1936 Olympia II Schnellfeuer' Rare interwar German made single action semi-automatic target pistol chambered in .22 Short, manufactured circa 1936. The Schnellfeuer model was used by German & Swedish athletes at the 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics in the rapid fire event where they took all three medals. Features a blued monolithic frame/7 3/8" round barrel with weight rail on the frame only, elevation adjustable ramped blade front sight, windage adjustable rear sight with 'u' notch, serrated trigger, concealed hammer, black anodized aluminum slide, manual safety on the left side of the frame, push button magazine release, 6 round magazine with wood base, knurled front strap, and two-piece thumb rest walnut grips with deep cut checkering. Includes a riker mount with eight 1936 Olympics related pins. Markings: [Crown]/ B, U, N, & G proofs. Pistol exhibits approximately 85% of it's original finish showing high point edge wear, scattered handling marks and the slide turned to a green color. Action is smooth, the bore is very good and the deep checkered walnut grips are very good. Condition is NRA Very Good. ***C&R Firearm***
