Joshua LaBenne started in the arts at a very young age, helping his father Jonathan ("The Bear Man") LaBenne. The family has traveled throughout the nation from coast to coast performing custom art work for businesses and private collectors alike.?The experience he gained working along side his dad in the family business has given Josh an edge to his artwork. ??Although Josh finds inspiration for his art in many places and faces in his travels, he spends most of his time with his wife and son enjoying the wilderness of Western Wyoming and observing the majestic wild life that live there.

The buck that inspired this painting is a Wyoming buck that has been photographed several times and is still alive and growing today.
