Japanese made pump-action shotgun chambered for 3" 12 Gauge shells, and imported by Weatherby out of South Gate, CA. The Weatherby Model Ninety-Two was in production from 1982 until 1989. Shotgun features a blue finished barrel, black receiver, 28" ventilated rib barrel, brass bead front sight, accepts choke tubes, choke measures 'Improved Cylinder' with choke installed (measured with a drop-in gauge), fluted bolt, right receiver mounted gold-toned bolt release lever, gold-toned smooth curved trigger, annular cut cross-bolt safety on the trigger guard, dual action bars, and a knurled magazine tube cap. The gloss walnut furniture consists of a semi-pistol gripped shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, finger grooved checkered slide handle, dark wood grip cap with an inlaid white diamond and a white spacer, 13" length-of-pull, and a solid black rubber recoil pad with a black spacer. The aluminum receiver shows limited coverage of floral scrolls on both sides of the receiver, with 'Weatherby' and 'NINETY-TWO' engraved on the left side within the scrolls. The original black finish retained is approximately 98% with very minor edge wear on the receiver, contact wear from the action, and small amount of scratches on the right side of the barrel. Metal displays no rust, or deformation. Action is smooth and crisp, and the bore is bright and smooth. The furniture wood is also in excellent condition with superficial handling marks.
Condition is NRA Excellent.
