WWII era British military top-break double action revolver, chambered for the British Revolver Mk 1 .38/200 cartridge. Features a blued refinish" 5" barrel, raised round blade front sight, square notch rear sight cut into the top of the barrel catch, fluted six-shot cylinder, smooth trigger, serrated wide hammer spur, square butt frame with lanyard ring and two-piece diamond checkered hard rubber grips with Webley molded into the tops. The frame is marked "WAR FINISH", the top strap is marked "WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD/BIRMINGHAM", "MARK IV 38 145/200" & "MADE IN ENGLAND" and the revolver is marked with Birmingham proofs. The serial numbers on the frame, barrel & cylinder are matching. Revolver exhibits approximately 85% of it's blued refinish showing light wear and scattered surface rust. Action is sound but has some play in the lock-up, is missing the cam lever lock screw & has no spring tension on the barrel catch, the bore is fair, markings are good and the hard rubber grips are very good.
