Copy of ledger with Westley Richard’s certification included indicating 1936 manufacture, 26” skeet and skeet, and 2 trigger. The gun shows an English quality refurbish to excellent condition with two sets of proofs (The original for 2 ½” and later English proofs for 3 ½”. The stock also of a later period and finely figured walnut with English straight stock, checkered butt, and splinter fore end. The stock measures 14 ½” from front trigger to the butt with no appreciable cast (normal). ¾” drop at the comb. The gun shows fine and tight banknote scroll engraving. The condition is fine to excellent with very little use since return to 97%-98%. The barrels are fine and within proper thickness range with bright bores. The case is very good plus with normal 70 years of use with label fully visible in the lid (possibly later when returned).
