Hunt Mountain Goat in Revelstoke, British Columbia with one of BC’s most experienced outfitters! Mountain goat hunting with Ken Robins is generally successful and always an adventure! Accommodations include a heated cabin, and all meals. Start date of this hunt is early November 2024, or 2025. This is when the goats are in their rutting phase, and is the best chance for the largest billies to come down from the top of the mountain to find nannies. Multiple Billies that make Boone & Crockett will likely be spotted on this hunt, with an excellent chance at getting one. Their coats are at their best this time of the season, with their fur being 6-8” long and beautiful chaps. Transportation is to be conducted by glassing and spotting from roads via pickup truck, with horses to be used if necessary to access a more remote camp. Like with any mountain goat hunt, there will likely be a lot of steep climbing, being in great physical condition is a plus on this hunt! Because of Whatshan’s reputation and success rates, their guided goat hunts generally stay fully booked. Only two goat hunters max are taken per season, and many goats can be expected to be spotted on this hunt as Ken’s harvest rates have little effect on the population. Member Recommended!
