American made vintage take-down pump-action rimfire rifle chambered for .22 Short (only), and manufactured circa 1908 in New Haven, CT. Rifle features a blued finish, a 24" octagon barrel, dovetailed blade front sight, elevation adjustable sporting rear sight, smooth curved trigger, 2/3 length magazine tube under barrel, external hammer with a checkered spur, top ejection, and a knurled take-down screw on the left side of the receiver. The hardwood furniture consists of a smooth straight gripped shoulder stock, corn-cob style pump handle, and a smooth crescent metal butt plate. The original blued finish retained is approximately 30% with edge and handling wear, and the finish taking on a dark brown to plum patina. Metal displays deformation around the front of the receiver, and on top of the bolt. Oxidative peppering can be found on the rifle. Bore is dark with oxidation, and fair rifling. The furniture wood is in good condition with age staining on pump handle, handling marks, and a small amount of chipping on the heel of the shoulder stock. The shoulder stock fits a little loose, and the front magazine ring fits loosely in its dovetail. The action is smooth and functions well, but feels dry. Markings are hard to read, but are present.
Condition is NRA Fair.
