Winchester, Alberta Diamond Jubilee (Deluxe Model) lever action rifle SET -

in Wood Presentation Box ...

This is a rifle to be cherished... HARD to find - Serial numbered ADJ 85

The Rifle is in 38-55 win, 508 mm long barrel, having an engraved receiver, highly
polished walnut stock with checkered straight grip and forearm, comes with original
sleeve and box, PLUS the solid wood display box.

The mahogany presentation case comes with provincial tartan band and the Alberta
Coat of Arms, wooden wallhanger with medallion, numbered en suite with the rifle.

The Knives are Schrade Limited edition Alberta Diamond Jubilee folding stag handled knife,
blade inscribed on one side "Alberta Diamond Jubilee 1905-1980, the other side
Limited edition Schrade I XL Sheffield, England Includes wooden fitted box and
pewter token...

Plus each gun has its own Plaque with serial number on it..

Chambered for the powerful .38-55 WCF, it wears a 20" barrel with blade front sight
and open rear sight. The receiver and barrel bands are silver plated with the balance
of the parts a polished blue.
The receiver features elaborate floral scroll engraving with the right side marked
1905 - 1980 beneath a coat of arms, and the left side showing oil derricks and a
flock of sheep with mountains in the background.
The barrel is marked "Alberta Diamond Jubliee" in silver letters.. The walnut stocks
feature cut checkering in a spade design (Winchester Style F) and the typical
carbine style steel buttplate.

Condition is excellent and the rifle is unfired, as new. There is some minor tarnish to
the silver finish (plus a small ding by serial number- see photo) but will easily polish
out and repair as guns have been stored for a long time ...

There are no cracks, chips, dings or dents in the stocks. According to the factory
records, there were just 300 of these rifle manufactured with the great majority
being sold in Canada.
