Winchester Model 1873 3rd Type Lever Action Rifle, #103150A, .32 WCF (.32-20) CF cal., 30'' octagonal barrel with buckhorn style sights, marked with the maker's name, address and ''King's Improvement-Patented-March 29, 1856, October 16, 1860'' in two lines on top flat, and ''32-Cal'' at breech; full-length mag. tube below; receiver has brass cartridge lifter marked ''32 Cal'' on bottom, sliding top dustcover, right-side loading port, loop cocking lever, is marked ''Model 1873'' flanked by flourishes at top tang, and ser. no. on bottom tang; varnished walnut forend and matching buttstock with crescent buttplate. Mfg'd ca. 1882, originally in full-blued finish with case hardened lever, hammer and buttplate. Condition is very good, the metal surfaces retaining very little finish but having a smooth blue-brown patina, sharp edges and markings. Stocks are sound showing marks commensurate with age and use, fit well, have nice grain and color and retain much finish. Action is smooth; bore is shiny showing overall light etching and defined rifling. Quite desirable with this long 30'' barrel. Est.: $1,200-$1,800. (Antique)*
