Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle 44 cal Made in 1880...MINT

Fully restored by professionals - in MINT CONDITION 10/10..

The Model 1873 was officially discontinued in 1919, after approximately 720,000
guns had been produced.

The First Model 1873 (s/n 1 to about 31000) has grooved guides on each side to
retain the dustcover (sometimes referred to as a "mortised dustcover).
The Second Model (s/n 31000 to 90000) has a dust cover on one central guide
secured to the receiver with two screws. This one is a Second Model unit.

The Model 1873 is widely credited as being The Gun that Won the West.
This classic model is chambered in the popular handgun calibers of the day and
has been produced in carbine, rifle and musket models.

This beauty is the very best we have ever seen...

There is a RESERVE set on this gun of $3000 - we estimate its value to be in
the $4500 range..
