Vintage American made take-down pump-action rimfire rifle chambered for .22 Long, and manufactured circa 1916 in New Haven, CT. Rifle features a blued finish, an approximately 24" octagonal barrel, dovetailed blade front sight, elevation adjustable rear sporting sight, 3/4 length magazine tube under barrel, smooth curved trigger, single action bar, external hammer with a checkered spur, and a take down screw on receiver's left side. The walnut furniture consists of a smooth straight gripped shoulder stock, corn cob style pump handle, and a smooth metal crescent butt plate. The original blued finish retained is approximately 50% showing general thinning, and a mottled gray/brown patina brown or bare metal. Most of the blue color remains on the barrel, and other protected areas. Metal displays some very subtle deformation in some of the screw slots, and very bad engraving on the trigger guard. A few small scattered spots of rust with light pin-prick pitting were observed. Furniture wood is very good considering the age, and shows some pretty normal handling blemishes, and there is a gold colored sticker on the bottom of the shoulder stock. There is also a hole at the wrist in the shoulder stock. Action is smooth and crisp, and the bore shows some wear but there is decent rifling. Markings remain sharp and legible.
Condition is NRA Good.
