Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine, #551101, .32 Win. Spl. cal., 20" barrel, blue finish, smooth walnut straight grip stock and forend, checkered hard rubber buttplate, Marble's 94-C beaded blade front sight, rear sight has been removed and filled with a dovetailed sight blank. An adjustable aperture sight has been added at the tang. Saddle ring missing but the stud is retained. Factory markings are clear, with Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver. Mfg'd 1912. Carbine is in good overall condition, retaining approx. 80%-85% thinning and toning blue on the barrel and magazine tube, with a 2" section of pinprick pitting along the left side of the barrel. Receiver has worn to gray, with traces of original finish, and patches of darkened light pitting. Stock is in very good condition with scattered indentations, scratches, and oil staining at the metal. Action is crisp and cycles smoothly. Bore is good with light erosion and wear, displaying defined rifling. Est.: $800-$1,200. (C&R)
