Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine, #777315, .32 Win. Spec. CF cal., blued 20'' round barrel, with high block-blade front sight (rear sight dovetail is vacant), marked with maker's name, address and 1884 patent date, ''Nickel Steel Barrel/Especially For Smokeless Powder'' on left, and ''32 W.S.'' at breech; blued tubular magazine; steel receiver with left-side stud and sling ring, is marked ''Model 1894/Winchester/Trade Mark U.S. Pat. Off. & Fgn.'' on upper tang, and serial number at lower front; case hardened loop operating lever and hammer; oil-stained walnut stocks, forend with a single barrel band, buttstock with a steel carbine buttplate. Mfg'd 1915. Condition is very good. Barrel and mag tube retain traces of original blue with scattered discoloration; receiver, lever, barrel band and buttplate have an overall gunmetal gray-brown tone. Stocks are solid with the expected marks of age and use, and a later coat of varnish. Action is strong and smooth; bore is clean with distinct rifling. Est.: $600-$800. (C&R)
