Winchester Model 1894 Takedown lever action rifle with a 26” round barrel, .38-55 caliber, Serial #223077, full magazine and rifle butt made in 1901-1902. The rifle has a changeable 2 bead front sight and tangsight at the rear, with the rear sight removed. The stocks show slightly better figuring, possible 1x or select. The rifle shows 75%-85% of the original blue finish with natural toning and aging along with just beginning light erosion. The stocks are very good plus with normal aging and minor imperfections. The action is sound with a bright bore. The rifle is a 7 ½-8 on a scale of 1-10. A nice rifle. Est.:$1,750-$3,500. (C+R).
