American made semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered for .22 Long, or Long Rifle, and manufactured in New Haven, CT. The Model 190 was in production from 1967 until 1980, and the exact date of manufacture cannot be determined. Rifle features a blued finish, black finished receiver with dovetailed optic rail (damaged), 20-1/2" round barrel, dovetailed blade front sight, smooth curved trigger with beveled edges, elevation adjustable sporting rear sight, full-length magazine tube, manual bolt hold open (push in charging handle with bolt back), and an annular cut trigger guard mounted push-button safety. The hardwood furniture consists of a smooth semi-pistol gripped shoulder stock, smooth forend, and a black serrated Winchester butt plate. The original blued finish retained is approximately 97% with scratches, and edge wear. The black receiver finish retained is about 85% with finish missing on the sides of the dovetail, edge wear, and some scratches. Metal displays damage to the receiver's optic rail to the point it may not function as a mounting platform. Rust was observed on the barrel and magazine tube. The action is smooth and crisp, and the bore is bright with strong rifling. Furniture wood is in good and sound condition with some handling blemishes, and significant finish losses.
Condition is NRA Good.
