American made tube-fed semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered for .22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle. Manufactured in New Haven, CT. circa 1967 - 1980. Rifle features a blued finish, black finished aluminum receiver, an approximately 20-1/2" round barrel, dovetailed blade front sight, elevation adjustable sporting rear sight, smooth curved trigger, aluminum trigger guard, full-length magazine tube under barrel, 'push-in' charging handle manual bolt hold open, and an annular cut push-button safety on trigger guard. The walnut finished hardwood furniture consists of a smooth semi-pistol gripped shoulder stock, smooth forend with flat sides by the receiver, and a serrated black plastic factory butt plate with a red spacer. The original black finish retained is approximately 87% with scratches on the barrel and receiver, finish losses by the rear sight, and thinning on the left side of the barrel. Metal displays a bent charging handle, and sparse oxidative speckling was observed on the barrel and magazine tube. Bore is bright with visible rifling, and the action is smooth and crisp. Furniture wood is in good condition with flamed portions of the furniture, faint spotting, and the butt plate spacer should be replaced. The exact date of manufacture cannot be determined.
Condition is NRA Good.
