Winchester Model 9422 Cheyenne Commemorative Lever Action Rifle, #CHF3353, .22 S-L-LR cal., 20'' round blued steel barrel with standard sights; right side marked in gold lettering ''Cheyenne Carbine 22''. Factory grooved gold-plated receiver with gold-plated lever and barrel bands; receiver with engraved Native American scenes to both sides. Straight grip walnut stock and forend with black composition Winchester buttplate; right side of buttstock with inlaid commemorative medallion; forend with brass tacks. In original box with matching end label, hang tag, owner's manual, and other misc. factory paperwork. Appearing unfired, rifle is in near excellent overall condition. Approx. 99%+ original blue and gold-plated finish remains. Receiver with some slight micro-scratching. Buttstock is just a little faded on the right side from being used as a display in the casino, with one small handling mark to the right side at the wrist, otherwise wood is excellent. Bore is bright and in excellent condition. Polychrome slipcover shows moderate storage wear and is a little tattered around some of the edges but rates as good overall. Approx. 5,000 of these rifles were mfg'd in 1977. Est.: $700-$900. (C&R)(Sierra Sid's Casino, Sparks, NV.)
