American made semi-automatic gas-operated shotgun chambered for 2-3/4" 20 Gauge shotshells, and manufactured in New Haven, CT. This shotgun was produced after 1969 because of the utilization of WinChokes (WinChokes were introduced in 1969). Shotgun features a blued finish, aluminum receiver with a serrated anti-glare top, 28" ventilated rib barrel, barrel accepts WinChokes with a 'Modified' choke installed, brass bead front sight, smooth curved trigger with beveled edges, half-length magazine tube with a knurled magazine tube cap, polymer trigger guard, annular cut cross-bolt safety at the front of the trigger guard, serrated bolt release at the front of the loading port, right-side eject, and a smooth charging handle. The hardwood furniture consists of a semi-pistol gripped shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, finger grooved checkered forend, 14" length-of-pull, and a checkered factory black plastic butt plate. The original blued finish retained is approximately 98% with slight edge wear, material transfer on the right side of the receiver, and minor handling blemishes. Metal displays no deformation, but there are a few small areas of oxidation along the barrel. Action is smooth and crisp, and the bore is shiny and smooth. The furniture wood is in excellent condition with a minor chip at the bottom of the shoulder stock where the butt plate meets. An exact date of manufacture cannot be determined.
Condition is NRA Good.
