Yukon Big Game Outfitters is owned and outfitted by Shawn Raymond. YBGO’s focus is to provide top quality hunting trips with premium trophies for the serious client. A select number of stone sheep hunters are taken each year. YBGO’s have a reputation for producing some of the Yukon's finest /darkest sheep. Due to the outfitters extensive management plan the average age of sheep taken over the last 6 years has been 10+ years. The lucky winner of this hunt can expect to harvest a sheep with horns measuring 37+ inches. It is not uncommon to target sheep that are 12 years or older. YBGO’s area is the largest guide area in the Yukon of 21,600 sq miles consisting of 6 different sheep ranges. This is a classic 14-day Yukon stone sheep hunt done by horseback and backpack. Success runs above 80%. Extra days must be booked in advance and please contact the outfitter regarding the additional cost. His goal is for everyone to go home successful and provides professional guides who go above and beyond to give you the best chance at getting the ram of your dreams. This hunt will take place in 2024 or 2025. Contact outfitter immediately to discuss available dates. Arrival/Departure Location: Whitehorse, Yukon. This is a fully guided hunt that includes: lodging (main camp and remote spike camps), meals, trophy/meat care, transportation during the hunt (charters not included), and transportation of trophy to shipper. Not included: 5% GST tax, Hotels in Whitehorse before/after hunt, Tag and License ($800), government harvest fee ($250), Bush Charter ($2900), tips. Trophy fees for Grizzly Bear and Moose are $15,0000.00 each.
