Description: Shawn Raymond of Yukon Big Game Oufitters (YBGO) has generously donated this fabulous Stone Sheep hunt for one lucky hunter. Hunt exceptional Stone Sheep in the Cassiar and Pelly Mountains region of the Yukon’s largest outfitting territory, where YBGO’s hunters regularly harvest exceptional rams. Their Stone Sheep are dark in color, and top quality, mature old rams are the average. Shawn’s focus is to provide top quality hunting trips with premium trophies for the serious client. The lucky hunt winner can expect to harvest a ram with 37""+ horns. It's not uncommon to target sheep that are 12 years of age or older.
YBGO takes a select number of serious Stone Sheep hunters each year and has a reputation for producing some of the Yukon's Finest & Darkest Stones! Due to the outfitters extensive management plan, the average age of sheep taken over the last 6 plus years has been 10+ years. This is a classic 14-day Yukon Stone Sheep (1 on 1) hunt done by horseback and/or backpack. Success runs near 100% and if you want more time, Shawn is willing to work with the hunter to stay longer until a ram is harvested. Please contact the outfitter for an additional day rate if desired. YBGO's goal is for everyone to go home successful and provides professional guides who go above and beyond to give you the best chance at getting the ram of your dreams.
Hunt Includes: full guiding, accommodations during hunt, meals, trophy/meat care, transportation during hunt (excluding charter), transfer of trophy to shipper.
Not included: 5% GST tax, Hotels in Whitehorse before/after hunt, Tag and License ($600), government harvest fee ($250), Bush Charter ($2900), tips, and trophy fees for additional animals should quotas allow. Arrival and departure point is Whitehorse, Yukon.
These hunts are conducted in proven areas where many big rams have been taken in previous years! Hunt may be upgraded to include additional hunting days, and to add Alaska-Yukon Moose, Mountain Caribou and/or Grizzly. See outfitter for additional costs on the upgrades.
