Yukon Stone Sheep Hunt
This is a great opportunity for those that have Stone Sheep on their bucket list. YBGO's area is renowned for its wild and uncompromising land which is home to some of the most abundant big game found in the Yukon. Your arrival point is Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada for this Stone sheep hunt to be scheduled with the Outfitter for open dates in 2017. This is a 14 day hunt and includes the trophy fee for a Stone Sheep, but does not include license tags ($600), bush charter ($1800) or 5% tax. There is a game handling fee of $900.00 per harvested big game animal. YBGO has held an above 10 year old age average the last 4 seasons and they harvest dark colored rams. More than one ram taken in last few years has reached horn length of 43 plus. This area has the genetics of heavy based rams dating back 30 years. This is a horseback and back pack style hunt. Other animals that can be added are grizzly ($7500), mountain caribou ($5900) and Yukon moose ($5900). This is a 1x1 hunt with outfitter Shawn Raymond who has more than 25 years’ experience in the business and has grown up hunting Stone sheep in the Yukon. There is room for one additional hunter welcome at the auction selling price. Be sure to contact Shawn for a copy of his hunt highlights for game that his clients have taken.
