5-day Yukon Trap-line Adventure for One
Detail Description of Hunt: Dickson Outfitters Ltd. has donated a fantastic 5-day trap-line trip in Western Yukon for one person. If you have always wanted to experience a real northern trap-line operation and learn from a very experienced trapper such as Dave Dickson this is the trip you definitely want to do!
Learn about predator management, preparing and setting snares & traps for wolf, wolverine, lynx, marten and fox plus assist with skinning & stretching of the fur caught. Every year multiple fur has been successfully trapped over the course of the week. Schedule trip with outfitter for open dates in 2020 or 2021. Included are cabin accommodations, meals, one pelt of choice from species trapped (additional pelts can be purchased), CITES permit, transportation to/from base camp and field prep. Additional days may be added and pelts purchased.
Bring a non-trapper friend to enjoy the week (additional fee) with you for more winter fun memories, guaranteed! Consult outfitter for details. Not included are license ($10/person), shipping fees and gratuities. Arrival/departure point is Whitehorse.
