Yugoslavian made semi-automatic short-stroke SKS patterned rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, manufactured circa 1967-1989. Imported by Century Arms International of Georgia, VT with import marks on the right side of the barrel. Rifle features a blued finish, 20.5" barrel with grenade launcher attachment, hooded post front sight, flip-up front night sight with a yellow dot, tangent rear sight graduated to 1,000 meters with a folding two-dot night sight, folding grenade launcher sight, under-folding blade style bayonet, smooth curved trigger, serrated manual safety lever mounted on trigger guard, fixed 10 round magazine, stripper clip guide cut into the bolt carrier, and a knurled bolt handle. The hardwood furniture consists of a smooth semi-pistol grip shoulder stock, smooth finger grooved forend, smooth vented handguard, sling loop on the gas block and the bottom of the shoulder stock, and solid black rubber recoil pad with a trapdoor for cleaning kit storage. Serial numbers '582156' match on the receiver, bolt carrier, top cover, magazine, trigger guard, and stock. The original blued finish retained is approximately 84% with general thinning around the receiver area (including top cover and magazine), handling blemishes, and contact wear. Metal displays no deformation, but there is sparse oxidative speckling on the rifles entirety. Action is smooth and crisp, and the bore appears bright with strong rifling. The bore is dirty with several patches passed through the bore that turned black. The furniture wood condition is in good condition with minor handling marks, but there is slight splitting around a screw head on the right side of the forend. An exact manufacture date cannot be determined.
Condition is NRA Good.
