7-day wingshooting for willow ptarmigan and fishing trip for two on the remote Alaska Peninsula
Wingshooting and sport fishing on the Alaska Peninsula with Master Guide and outfitters, Gary "Butch" and Kathy King. This trip is scheduled for 2012. Enjoy world-class wingshooting for Alaska’s Willow Ptarmigan, including sport fishing for colorful Arctic Char, native Rainbow Trout, and huge Pacific Salmon. Willow Ptarmigan hunting is only available after August 10th. Deluxe accommodations at Wildman Lake Lodge include well-appointed guest rooms with comfortable twin or king size beds. Each cabin has its own bathroom with 24 hour piping hot showers and hot water baseboard heat. The package includes seven days of bird hunting and fishing. Three fly out days of fishing or bird hunting are included to neighboring rivers. Guests may also choose to spend an afternoon beach combing along the volcanic black sand beaches of the Bering Sea or visit a nearby Walrus Haul-out where you can view and photograph anywhere from 500 to 5000 huge Pacific Walrus in their native habitat. The executive chef and professional kitchen staff at Wildman Lake Lodge feature hearty breakfasts, fantastic shore lunches, and exceptional fine dining each evening in the lodge's spacious dining room. This trip is available for the 2012 season. You can't upgrade this trip because it is as good as it gets in Alaska today. Additional persons may be added at $5,750 each, on a space available basis. Transportation is riverboat and aircraft to the hunting and fishing areas. Processing of birds and fish is included. A $20 small game license and a $55 fishing license per hunter/angler will be required. Round trip airline transportation from Anchorage to Wildman is approximately $800. You will also need hotel accommodations in Anchorage before and after your stay at Wildman Lake Lodge (approx. $200).
