High above the Arctic Circle, Finnish Lapland feels like stepping into a winter fairytale. Snow-draped forests stretch endlessly beneath crystal-clear skies, and the silence of the wilderness is broken only by the crunch of fresh powder underfoot. By day, the Arctic landscape invites thrilling exploration; by night, the sky becomes a stage for nature’s most mesmerizing performance — the Northern Lights swirling in luminous waves of green and violet above the frozen world.
Included Arctic Adventures
Snowmobile Safari
Feel the thrill of the Arctic as you set off on a snowmobile adventure across Lapland’s untouched wilderness. Follow your guide through sweeping white fells, frozen rivers, and silent forests where snow blankets the trees like powdered sugar. The engine hums beneath you as the vast landscape opens in every direction—an exhilarating journey through a winter world few travelers ever experience.
Reindeer Sleigh Experience
Step into a scene that feels lifted from an Arctic fairytale. Wrapped in warm blankets, glide gently through snow-laden forests as a reindeer pulls your sleigh along quiet trails used for centuries by the Sámi people. The only sounds are the soft crunch of snow and the rhythmic jingle of harness bells. Along the way, pause to warm your hands around a steaming drink while learning about the traditions and stories that have shaped life in this magical northern land.
Husky Sledding Safari
Excitement fills the air as your eager team of huskies leaps forward, their energy contagious the moment the sled begins to glide. Standing behind the runners, you guide the sled across glittering snowfields and through winding forest paths, the crisp Arctic air rushing past your cheeks. These powerful dogs love to run, and their joyful spirit transforms the ride into one of the most unforgettable moments of your Lapland adventure.
Northern Lights Horse-Drawn Sleigh Safari
As evening falls and the Arctic sky deepens into velvet darkness, climb into a traditional wooden sleigh drawn by a majestic Finnhorse. Wrapped in warm blankets, glide quietly through moonlit forests where the only sound is the gentle rhythm of hooves in the snow. Then, if the skies are kind, the moment arrives—the Northern Lights unfurl overhead in shimmering waves of emerald and violet, illuminating the silent wilderness in one of nature’s most breathtaking displays.
Your Stay: Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort
Your four-night Arctic escape blends the raw beauty of Lapland’s wilderness with the warmth and comfort of Scandinavian design with in East Village . Nestled among snow-laden pines, your journey begins in a traditional log cabin — a cozy Nordic retreat complete with a private sauna and crackling fireplace, where evenings are spent unwinding as the quiet of the forest settles around you.
Then, the experience becomes truly unforgettable. For two magical nights, you’ll stay in one of the resort’s legendary glass igloos — a warm, private sanctuary beneath the Arctic sky. From the comfort of your bed, watch the stars shimmer overhead and keep your eyes on the horizon as the Northern Lights appear, unfurling ribbons of emerald and violet across the night.
