The Washington Wild Sheep Foundation (WA WSF) is organized to benefit wild sheep by generating funds by auctioning items donated by individuals and/or companies.
Any bid made at a WA WSF auction, whether in person at a live auction, by phone, online or at a silent auction, constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the bid price. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid ticket or, in the case of a phone or online bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your behalf AND requires that the bid amount be paid prior or at the close of the auction. In the event that the successful bid was made by phone or online, the bid price must be received before the close of the event.
Any failure of compliance with the provisions above will result in the addition of any costs incurred because of non-compliance. If the winner of an auction refuses to pay the winning bid plus any premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid. If the next highest bidder declines the item or if the second highest bidder is unknown, WA WSF shall dispose of the item at its discretion.
ONLINE BIDDING: All online bidders will be required to pay a 5% registration fee with a $250 cap. You will be asked to provide the following information: Full Name, Email address, Address, Phone number, Credit card number, which an AVS is completed (Address Verification System).
The winner’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each successful bid. In the event the card is declined, WA WSF will make one attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, WA WSF may, in its sole and absolute discretion, resell the affected item.
ONLINE PURCHASE SHIPPING: A purchase of any item online requires shipping to be fully at the expense of the purchaser. Any customs, duty or shipping charges will be borne fully by the buyer. Arrangement for shipping will be made by WA WSF, otherwise through one of our designated courier services. The buyer does have the right to arrange for their own shipment; however, there may be a handling fee issued by WA WSF. Expect items to ship within 5 business days after the close of the event, unless other arrangements have been made.
FIREARMS: Before taking possession of your purchased firearm, the gun must be registered in compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms laws, and the buyer must be able to pass a NICS check. To meet this compliance, WA WSF will ship the firearm, at the expense of the buyer, through a designated Federal Firearm License (FFL) holder to a FFL holder of your choice after the auction. WA WSF cannot transfer any firearm at the auction.
WA WSF AUCTION ITEM POLICY: All goods in the live and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The purchaser acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by WA WSF, and it is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets, or other weapons to obtain a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods sold in both, the live an silent auctions, are sold “AS IS” with all faults and defects, without any express of implied warranty on the part of WA WSF. WA WSF provides no warranties of fitness and expressly disclaims the same. WA WSF does not accept any liability or responsibility for any product, design, or use. Any written warranties on the goods delivered to the high bidder are those solely of the manufactures, and/or their agents, and shall be the sole liability of the manufacturer.
All services, hunts, or otherwise, in the live and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “goods” above. No services in the live auction are to be or will be performed by WA WSF. WA WSF shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services, or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The purchaser also acknowledges that in the event that services are purchased, WA WSF cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the United States. WA WSF cannot be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from. WA WSF reserves the right to add items to the auctions as additional donations become available.
It shall be the responsibility of the purchaser to contact the outfitter to confirm the dates of the purchased event, obtain licenses and make any necessary arrangements or accommodations. WA WSF is not, and will not act as, a conduit or go-between the purchaser and the donor. Although WA WSF has made every effort to ensure the quality of donated hunts and trips, it cannot and does not, guarantee the satisfaction of either the donor or the purchaser.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. There will be absolutely no refunds given or exchanges. Unless otherwise indicated, all auction items, services and hunts must be used within one year of the date of the purchase at auction.
