Join our friends at Lax- Á in southwest Greenland for a 7-day Arctic char fishing adventure for two anglers.
Anglers can expect nothing other than an incredible premier fishing experience given the massive territory with few inhabitants and abundance of Arctic char. Fishing for Arctic char is on a catch and release basis and mostly light tackle fishing, with the average fish weighing 5-7 pounds. Aside from unmatched Arctic char fishing, there is also excellent saltwater fishing around the camp, where plenty of Atlantic cod can be caught. When not on the river fishing, you will enjoy delicious meals cooked by the camp chef including caribou, muskox, Arctic char and Atlantic cod. Although you will be staying at a wilderness camp, you will still have running water, and an onsite sauna to enjoy.
This trip is available for July- September in 2026 or 2027, with July being the best month for nonstop Arctic char fishing. The trip may be upgraded to include additional anglers at $7,900, observers at $5,900, and additional excursions may be added per the current price list.
Included: RT transport from Qaqortoq Airport to camp, lodging, all meals, 1x4 guided fishing aboard fully equipped boats, and all fishing licenses.
Not included: RT airfare to Quartoq, Greenland (see Greenland and Iceland! There’s a 3-hour direct flight from Kefavik, Iceland to Quaqortok, Greenland), before/after trip accommodations, and gratuities.

• All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds on hunts, services or physical items purchased during the Live Auction. Unless otherwise indicated, all auction hunts, services or physical items must be used within one year of the date of purchase.
• It is the purchaser’s responsibility to contact the hunt and/or services donor immediately, make all necessary arrangements for dates, and submit the application for any necessary paperwork for licenses and/or permits. Failure to make necessary arrangements may constitute forfeiture.
• Alaska Wild Sheep Foundation (AK WSF) is not, and will not act as a conduit or go-between for the purchaser and donor.
• AK WSF has made every effort to ensure the quality of donated hunts and other services. However, AK WSF does not guarantee the satisfaction of the donor or the purchaser.
• All donors must provide notice on the Hunt Donation Form of the number of days of duration and available time frame(s) agreed upon in the donation along with the opportunity to hunt/fish all species indicated in the donation. Hunt donations include any and all ancillary items or services as indicated in the Hunt Donation Form and confirm with the purchaser in the AK WSF’s Live Auction Purchase Agreement sales receipt.
• AK WSF does not guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during the period of the hunt. Locating or taking an animal of trophy quality or otherwise is not a condition of acceptance by the purchaser for the purchased hunt.
• A person who bids on behalf of another person or group is responsible for payment in its entirety.
• The goods and services in the live auction are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of the AK WSF. AK WSF makes no warranties of fitness or merchantability.
• The high bidder acknowledges that AK WSF cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest, epidemic or instability that may occur inside or outside the United States, nor can AK WSF be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from.
• The high bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances in its entirety.
• These rules are hereby incorporated into the Live Auction Purchase Agreement sheets by reference. The winning bidder agrees to acknowledge and accept these rules and conditionals.
