New Zealand: Wilderness Quest New Zealand - Zion Pilgrim has donated this 5-day/4-night guided Red Stag hunt for one hunter with an additional $1000 credit towards a New Zealand Tahr.
Red Stag hunting is in the Haupiri Valley nestled at the base of mountains on the West Coast of New Zealand with stunning views, snow fed rivers, and lakes shrouded in mist. Red Stags can be hunted from March-July 2023 or 2024. The Rut begins in March to mid-May. During the Rut the Red Stags 'roar' and challenge each other for dominance. The Rut is an almost primeval time to see these monarchs at their greatest. Aggressive fighting is common between dominant stags and often then these great battles result in the loser leaving mortally wounded.
This hunt includes: 1x1 guide service, trophy fees for one red stag up to 360", $1000 credit towards NZ Tahr (winner pays remaining balance of $4500 plus any red stag upgrades, transportation during the hunt, field prep, food and beverage, preparation of trophies for export, transportation to shipper, & rifle and ammunition.
NOT included: Helicopter to spike camp ($1500) and gratuities. See pricelist for other trophies that may be taken.

• All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds on hunts, services or physical items purchased during the Live Auction. Unless otherwise indicated, all auction hunts, services or physical items must be used within one year of the date of purchase.
• It is the purchaser’s responsibility to contact the hunt and/or services donor immediately, make all necessary arrangements for dates, and submit the application for any necessary paperwork for licenses and/or permits. Failure to make necessary arrangements may constitute forfeiture.
• Alaska Wild Sheep Foundation (AK WSF) is not, and will not act as a conduit or go-between for the purchaser and donor.
• AK WSF has made every effort to ensure the quality of donated hunts and other services. However, AK WSF does not guarantee the satisfaction of the donor or the purchaser.
• All donors must provide notice on the Hunt Donation Form of the number of days of duration and available time frame(s) agreed upon in the donation along with the opportunity to hunt/fish all species indicated in the donation. Hunt donations include any and all ancillary items or services as indicated in the Hunt Donation Form and confirm with the purchaser in the AK WSF’s Live Auction Purchase Agreement sales receipt.
• AK WSF does not guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during the period of the hunt. Locating or taking an animal of trophy quality or otherwise is not a condition of acceptance by the purchaser for the purchased hunt.
• A person who bids on behalf of another person or group is responsible for payment in its entirety.
• The goods and services in the live auction are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of the AK WSF. AK WSF makes no warranties of fitness or merchantability.
• The high bidder acknowledges that AK WSF cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest, epidemic or instability that may occur inside or outside the United States, nor can AK WSF be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from.
• The high bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances in its entirety.
• These rules are hereby incorporated into the Live Auction Purchase Agreement sheets by reference. The winning bidder agrees to acknowledge and accept these rules and conditionals.
