7-day/7-night wingshooting and sportfishing package for one at Wildman Lake Lodge in Alaska. Your scenic flight to this remote Alaskan Peninsula departs from Anchorage flying 500 miles over national parks, towering glaciers and steaming ice-shrouded volcanos before touching down on the private runway at Wildman Lake Lodge, home of master guide and outfitters, Gary “Butch” and Kathy King. Donated package includes 7 days of guided fishing and wingshooting, outstanding meals and 7 nights deluxe accommodations. At Wildman Lake Lodge, each well-appointed guest cabin has a comfortable twin or king size bed and private full bathroom with piping hot shower. Enjoy both fly-out trips for wingshooting for ptarmigan and flyfishing for salmon, trout and char on Alaska’s only crystal-clear artesian sportfishing river. Guests may also choose to spend an afternoon beach combing along the volcanic black-sand beaches of the Bering Sea or visiting a nearby walrus haul-out to view thousands of huge Pacific walrus in their native habitat. Wildman’s executive chef and professional kitchen staff serve hearty breakfasts, fantastic shore lunches and exceptionally fine evening dinners in their spacious dining room. This trip is available for August 10th through 17th or August 17th through 24th, 2015 to correspond with the opening week of Alaska’s willow ptarmigan hunting season. Processing of birds and fish are included. A $20 small game license and $55 fishing license per hunter/angler will be required. Round-trip transportation between Anchorage and Wildman Lake Lodge is included in this donation. Additional persons may be added at our published rate $7,450 (including airfare) on a space-available basis. Gary “Butch” King has been guiding and outfitting hunters and anglers on the Alaska Peninsula since 1971 and has hosted many DSC members over those years. Come join the ranks and ‘Hunt and Fish like a Wildman!’ Dallas Safari Club thanks Wildman Lake Lodge for this 100% donation.
